Why limit the ghoulish good times to only one day? Davie County spooktacular Halloween activities for all ages run Friday, October 11th – Thursday, October 31st!

Holly Lane Haunt – October 26 & 31

The Holly Lane Haunt, 206 Holly Lane, is back on October 26 and 31 from 5:30 – 10 p.m. with more frights and terrible creatures. The newly revamped front half of the trail is suitable for half-sized haunt lovers, and the walk-around inflatable trial is perfect for pint-sized participants. However, the back half of the trail has some new residents who are eager to meet the more daring of you who think you can brave the dark forest.

Complete with TWELVE scenes this year, The Holly Lane Haunt will return with fog, lighting, special effects, 20+ scarers, 80+ animatronics and of course candy at the end for those brave enough to enter.

As always, The Holly Lane Haunt will remain FREE to enter as many times as desired. The residents of Holly Lane strive to create an experience for our community that all can enjoy. However, as they grow this event, so do the expenses. A donation jar is available, and Venmo and Cash App are options for those who wish to donate. The links will be posted at the candy table.

Bitzy’s Not So Spooky Hayride at Koren Farms on October 11 & 12

Join Koren Farms for a Not so spooky hayride if you dare! Hang on tight while they take you on a ride over the hill and by Bitzy’s not-so-spooky barn! October 11th and 12th from 6:30 -9 p.m. pm each night.

Spooky Block Houses at Davie County Public Library – October 18

Decorate a block as a spooky house at the Davie County Public Library. There will be paint, pumpkins, crows, spiders, and other creepy crawlers all to help you decorate them!

Downtown Mocksville Merchants Will Offer Candy, Prizes, and Activities on October 31

For the safety of the children and their families, North Main Street will be closed from Gaither Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Road from 5:30 – 10 p.m. Side roads onto Main Street through this area will also be blocked off.

Costumed merchants will treat trick-or-treaters to candy and prizes on Thursday, October 31st, throughout the afternoon and early evening. The Mobile Jukebox will be downtown, playing your favorite spooky tunes.

The Station will feature a Minion Block Party with Minion characters and kid-friendly music from 4-6 p.m.Wear your best (non-scary) costume! Bring your best dance moves! DJ playing your favorites! There will be food trucks onsite for a delicious snack or dinner before trick-or-treating down Main Street.

Mocksville Superhero Sprint

Race into Halloween with the Mocksville Superhero Sprint! Sprinters will take on a short ‘course’ (approximately 50 yards) starting from Main Street Park (192 N. Main St.) and sprinting down the closed section of Main Street toward the residential section. Ages 2-12+ are welcome, and there will be ‘heats’ split across ages for safety! Approximate start time is 5:30 p.m.

Celebrate Halloween with the Residents of North Main Street – October 31

Wind your way down North Main Street from 5:30 – 9 p.m. for more fiendish fun! Many homes will be dressed in their Halloween best as cemeteries, ghosts & goblins, witches brew, and more line their paths. Expect bands, DJs, special events, and, of course, candy along the way.

Please park your vehicle downtown or in the parking lots on side streets. Once the roads are closed, no one (even local residents) will be able to gain access. Our primary focus is to provide a safe place for kids and their families to enjoy Halloween.

Halloween Spooktacular: “Brock’s Jeepers Night of Frights” – October 31

For some thrills and chills, make sure to visit the Brock Gym for Davie County Recreation and Parks’ Halloween Spooktacular: Brock’s Jeepers Night of Frights! For 23 years, the Jeeper has been lurking, and Little Brock’s secret is about to be revealed! Brave the maze, uncover clues, and help DCRP trap the Jeeper before chaos hits Main Street! Can you escape the spine-tingling surprises and thrills?

Open from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. $3 per person. Parental guidance is advised.
