Hometown Christmas Parade
The 2012 Davie County Hometown Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, November 17th at 3 PM in historic downtown Mocksville. The parade theme for 2012 is a “Celebration of Trees.” – a theme that ties in well with traditional Christmas trees while recognizing the impact of the four majestic oaks on the historic Mocksville town square.
The parade has traditionally been held on the first Saturday of December. The new timing allows for better coordination of holiday activities sponsored or presented by the town of Mocksville, the Davie County Chamber of Commerce, and the Historic Downtown Mocksville merchants association.
