Easter Peeps Book Scene Diorama Contest – Now until March 28th
Join the Davie County Public Library for its FIRST-EVER peeps book scene diorama contest! Grab a shoebox and a set of Peeps from the circulation staff or from home and recreate a scene from a family-friendly book. All characters in your scene should be made using Peeps. (free shoeboxes and peeps can be provided by the circulation staff!) Dioramas with attached entry forms may be dropped off by Thursday, March 28. Come by and pick up your entry (and free PEEPS while supplies last!)
Little Cog Easter Egg Hunt – March 23rd, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Calling all kiddos 3-6 years old! Cognition’s Easter Egg hunt is returning for a second year! Hundreds of eggs will be hidden around the children’s museum by the Easter Bunny himself. Sign up on their website and bring a basket to join in on the fun! After hunting for eggs, you are welcome to stay and play for the remainder of the morning session. The cost is $5 per child. Cognition is located at 119 N. Salisbury St., Mocksville.
He is Risen Celebration – March 23rd, 1-3 p.m.
Cornerstone Christian Church, 1585 NC Hwy 801 N., Mocksville, will host the He is Risen Celebration from 1- 3 p.m. This fun event for the whole family will feature a Gospel message, egg hunts, games, a bounce house, and food. Rain or shine.
Get EGG-Cited for EGG-speriments at Cognition – March 26th, 4 – 5:30 p.m.
Looking forward to Easter? It’s one of Cognition’s favorite holidays at Cognition for one reason… eggs! Did you know there are a TON of science experiments you can do with eggs? 2nd through 6th graders are invited to Cognition on March 26th to try some out! Bunny Time – March 28th, 11 a.m.
The Davie County Public Library will host Bunny Time with Mr. Mike Garner on Thursday, March 28th, at 11 a.m. Enjoy a bunny meet and greet with Davie County’s very own Mr. Garner, who raises and shows award-winning bunnies!
