Register Now! — Hometown Christmas Parade – December 4th
The holiday season is fast approaching and it’s time to get into the spirit by registering for the Hometown Christmas Parade which will be held on Saturday, December 4th at 2 p.m.
The Hometown Christmas Parade is a beloved tradition that has been delighting young and old for decades. This year’s theme is “The 12 Days of Christmas.”
Parade categories include businesses, churches, civic/non-profit groups, school groups, single/individual entries, and horses with entry fees ranging from $15 to $25. There is an additional charge of $10 for multiple vehicles i.e float + gator, float + truck.

There will be prizes for both floats and performances. First place will win $75, second place with receive $50, and the third-place entry will take home $25.
Consideration will be given for line-up order on a first-come, first-served basis. Parade location assignments will be in the Davie County Enterprise the week of the parade and posted on the Town of Mocksville website.
Participants may arrive at their designated location as early as 1 p.m.but should plan to arrive no later than 1:30 p.m.
Parents dropping off kids in Rich Park will be directed to park at Mocksville Elementary School and walk their children to their float location in Rich Park.
Please Note: Limited through traffic will begin at 1 p.m and the parade route streets (Main, Depot, Park, Poplar, etc) will be closed to ALL traffic by 1:15 p.m.so that the parade may start on time at 2 p.m. SHARP.
How to Enter
The deadline to enter is Friday, November 6th at noon – no late entries will be accepted.
