With amazing art, live music, and crafts and games for the kids, you will not want to miss the River Walk Art Festival this Saturday, September 22nd, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Town Square, 120 Kinderton Boulevard in the Town of Bermuda Run.
This free family-friendly event will feature more than 45 artists and authors from across North Carolina who will be offering for sale visual art in various mediums, wood carving, pottery, handmade jewelry, woodworks, yard art, and books.
Live Music All Day!
A day of art would not be complete without great music. The Davie County Singing Seniors will perform from 10 – 11 a.m. His & Hers will take the stage from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. and the day will close with Tess & the Black & Blues Band will finish out the day from 2:30 – 4 p.m.

High School Sweethearts. Husband & Wife. Mother & Father. His & Hers features hometown folk duo, Caleb and Sara Davis, playing folk, country, and bluegrass.
Tess & the Black & Blue Band
Founded in 2014, this multi-talented hometown group plays Motown and beach and features Davie County locals Tess Welch – Vocals; Grady McClamrock – Rhythm guitar; Gary Chilton – Lead guitar; Ken Simonds – Bass; Jerry Smith – Keyboards; and Darren Boles – Drums.
Free Fun Activities for the Kids!
There will be a special treat for children. They can visit the Imagination Castle to create six different works of art of their own and play in the Play Station where several types of games will be set-up. All of these children’s activities are FREE!
This event also includes great food provided by Boy Scout Troop #732 (hamburgers/hotdogs and all the fixings.) Sunset Slushie will have cold treats for you to enjoy. So bring an appetite!
