Davie County has two free concerts Saturday night that are sure to thrill music lovers of all ages. While downtown Mocksville is rocking, Bermuda Run will be dancing to the top tunes of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.
Mocksville’s Concerts on the Square
Enjoy some classic rock and rhythm & blues as 60 Watt Combo https://www.60wattcombo.com takes center stage this Saturday night, August 24th, from 7- 10 p.m.in the quad near Restaurant 101 in downtown Mocksville. Their performance is part of the free Concerts on the Square series sponsored by the Town of Mocksville.
You’ll hear favorites from artists like Chuck Berry, The Animals, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, ZZ Top and many more!
Bring your lawn chairs. Enjoy downtown Mocksville restaurants, retail shops, and ice cream and gourmet coffee shops.
Future performances in the free Concerts on the Square series are — September 14th — Exit 180 Band (rock, southern rock, classic rock, country, blues), and September 28th — Poundcake (rock). All concerts begin at 7 p.m.

This band should come with a warning label because they will get the audience involved like you have never seen! They play just about anything but focus on ’60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s cover tunes and Carolina beach music.
Bring a lawn chair, a picnic, a cooler, and don’t forget your dancing shoes! Two dance floors will be available for dancing the night away. The rain date for the concert is Sunday, August 25th at 7 p.m.
Future performances in the free Sounds on the Square concert series are — September 8th – On The Border – Ultimate Eagles Tribute Band, and September 29th – Special Occasion Band (Carolinas’ beach music, top 40, oldies, and country). All concerts begin at 7 p.m.
