Delicious Chowder and a World Famous Celtic Band!
After you’ve “shopped till you dropped” and worked up an appetite strolling Mocksville’s quaint streets, head over to O’Callahan’s, for its 2nd Annual Chowder Fest and enjoy four different chowders at $3 a bowl.
The event will run from 3-10 pm in O’Callahan’s back parking lot and will feature the Celtic sounds of The American Rogues, an internationally recognized Celtic band, Budweiser beer girls, and drink specials in addition to the delicious chowder. Chowder Fest benefits Backpack Buddies, a program that provides weekend food to children who receive free or reduced-price lunches at school, so eat a meal and provide a meal.
