Job Title: Part-Time Office Manager
Position Summary: This is a part-time position. Hours are Monday through Friday from Noon until 5 PM and during events. Primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our patrons, assist with the day to day operations of the Arts Council while insuring proper sales and financial records are being kept.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative, but not limited to, of the knowledge, skill and ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

PERSONAL SKILLS: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Individual is to have a willingness to participate in and successfully complete training to learn how to use ticketing software. Individual is required to enter all data of ticket sales accurately and in a short amount of time. Bank deposit records along with credit card transactions must be accurate. Individual must be well trained in the use of a computer and its technology and must have training and experience in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel software. Individual shall be a team player working closely with the Financial Manager and for the organization’s Executive Director.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos (in English). Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group purchases for patrons and Arts Council’s associates.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to complete sales transactions in cash, check, or credit card. Provide written and data entries of sales transactions and bank deposits. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in Arts Council’s standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The individual is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and smell. The individual is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop and kneel. The individual is occasionally required to lift and move up to 20 pounds and reach from 6 to 48 inches. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
