Global chemical company, Scott Bader, has acquired a new facility in Mocksville as it strives to meet growing domestic and global demand for its market-leading structural adhesives and gelcoats. The company has invested $16 million to purchase a 110,000 square foot industrial building on a 15-acre site in the SouthPoint Business Park on Hwy 601 N. With further investment, the site will be developed into a state-of-the-art gelcoat and structural adhesives manufacturing facility.
