2010 Hometown Christmas Parade ~ Complete with Snow!

A beautiful snowfall complemented the 2010 Hometown Christmas Parade in historic downtown Mocksville, providing a beautiful backdrop for the parade and adding a perfect seasonal touch to the festivities.  Water and electronics don’t play well together so positioning the camera for this event was somewhat of a challenge.  Thanks to the Davie County Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Mocksville for all of the hard work organizing and coordinating this event, thanks to all of  the volunteers and organizations that contributed time and talent, and thanks to all of the parents and kids who participated!

The Mocksville Christmas Parade commemorates the past through the traditions of Christmas; celebrates the present by bringing together the best in civic groups, churches, businesses, schools, community leaders and public servants; and presents a vision of hope to the next generation for a strong and prosperous future.

Watch the entire parade again in full 1080p HD video on your Davie County YouTube Channel ~ Part 1 of 4 appears below.
