The 47th annual “Davie Craft Village” will be held at the Brock Gymnasium in historic downtown Mocksville today, Friday, November 11th, from 9 AM to 8 PM and tomorrow from 9 AM to 4 PM. Traditional and holiday crafts, a bake sale and a café make this is a fun way to kick off the holiday season.
Unique Gifts Galore
Davie County’s longest running Christmas craft show is the perfect place to begin your holiday shopping. More than 50 artisans will offer photography, fused glass, florals,soaps, holiday ornaments and home decor, pottery, painting, jewelry, baskets, woodworking, crocheted, felted, and knitted wearables, and much more. The Davie Craft Association is made up of talented crafters from Davie County and the surrounding areas. Each potential new member has their work evaluated by a team of current Davie Craft Association members.
The Bake Shop will feature tantalizing homemade cookies, pies, bread, and cakes. The Village Café will have soups, salads, chicken pie, chicken salad, hamburgers, and more.
Benefit for Community Projects
Admission is $1 for adults and free for children younger than 12. Each craft vendor donates 5% of sales to benefit community projects. Recipients have included Davie County Retired School Personnel, the Davie County Library, A Storehouse for Jesus, and the Davie County High School student scholarship fund.
