Groce-Man’s Jam – Proceeds Benefit the Gary Groce Memorial Music Scholarship Fund
The proceeds from this yearly event fund the Gary Groce Memorial Music Scholarship which helps pay for music lessons for kids.  This is a permanent endowment fund, held by the Davie Community Foundation started by the family of Gary Groce, to honor the memory of the beloved, self-taught banjo player from Davie County who passed away in December of 2012. One of Gary’s favorite pastimes was jamming and playing bluegrass with his friends, so what better way to honor his memory, than to help shape the future generations of musicians.
