There is something new coming to Bermuda Run this fall!
The Town of Bermuda Run will host its first-ever County Fair on the Town Green on Saturday, October 17, from 3–7 p.m., with live music, carnival games, pumpkins, local vendors, good food, and activities for the whole family.
A Little Something for Everyone
A farmers market and local vendors will give visitors a chance to shop while enjoying the afternoon. There will also be pumpkins, mums and more, along with a pumpkin patch and decorating area.
Kids can try their hand at carnival-style games and win prizes, and there will be a Habitat for Humanity Dunk Tank, with donations benefiting Habitat.
Animal lovers will want to stop by the Humane Society of Davie County‘s adoption event to meet dogs and cats looking for their forever homes. Even if you aren’t looking to add a new member to the family, it’s a great opportunity to meet the animals and learn more about the Humane Society’s work in Davie County.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a county fair without plenty to eat.
Boy Scout Troop 732 will be serving hot dogs, hamburgers, and barbecue, while cotton candy and fresh donuts will satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth. Beer, hard cider, and wine will also be available.
Davie County’s His & Hers Takes the Stage
Adding a hometown connection to the afternoon, His & Hers, a Davie County-based regional folk/Americanagrass band, will provide live music during the fair.
The band has performed at well-known festivals and venues across the region, including MerleFest, Carolina in the Fall, the Blue Ridge Music Center, The Ramkat and The Reeves Theater.
Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the music while you grab something to eat, visit the vendors, or let the kids enjoy the games and activities.
A New Fall Tradition for Bermuda Run
The Town Green has become a gathering place for celebrations and community events throughout the year, and the County Fair will add something new to Bermuda Run’s lineup.
