Lace up your running shoes, and have a chillin’ good time while supporting a great cause — take part in the 9th Annual Popsicle 5k Run on Saturday, February 8th! All abilities are welcome. Mocksville Police Department Following New Blueprint for Success

Lambert-Graham Funeral Home Celebrates Grand Opening in Mocksville

Despite the nasty weather, more than 150 area residents turned out to congratulate new owners, Carl and Kim Lambert, and to tour the newly renovated and redecorated facility. $2 Million Grant Awarded to Mocksville for Infrastructure Improvements to Support Jobs

By Jeanna Baxter White The North Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority has awarded the Town of Mocksville a $2 million Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to support public water and sewer improvements to accommodate Brakebush Brothers, Inc., a manufacturer of processed poultry products for foodservice, industrial, and chain accounts. The company began operations in Mocksville in October. The grant supports the creation of more than 200 jobs, along with a private investment of $60 million.
