Gather your friends and family and join us for a fantastic day of fun at the Autumn Equinox Festival (formerly the Oaks Festival) in the heart of historic downtown Mocksville on Saturday, October 12th. From 10 a.m to 7 p.m., Main Street will come alive with live music, food, and activities that promise a day of entertainment for all ages.
Shop for Handcrafted Treasures & Holiday Must-Haves
Kickstart your holiday shopping or treat yourself to a special find! Browse through an array of handmade crafts, Christmas specialties, and one-of-a-kind goods, including beautiful pottery, stained glass, and creative woodwork. You’ll also find the perfect fall decor, from pumpkins to handcrafted wreaths and more. Vendor booths will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Non-Stop Fun for Kids!
Little ones will be overjoyed with inflatables from D’s Cloud Bounce, face painting by Creative Faces, and balloon animals crafted by Michael Decker. With these free activities, kids are sure to have a blast.
Satisfy Your Cravings with Fair-Style Eats
Delicious food awaits! Feast on mouthwatering BBQ and soul food from Eric & K’s BBQ, savor hamburgers and hotdogs from the Davie High Band Boosters, or cool down with a sweet treat from Jason’s Italian Ice or Sippin’ Citrus. Plus, the Rotary Club of Mocksville will be serving up beer and wine for adults to enjoy.
Live Concerts All Day – Bring Your Chair and Enjoy!
Starting at 1:30 p.m., groove to live performances on the outdoor stage at the end of West Depot Street. Here’s the lineup:
- 1:30 p.m.: Usual Suspects – A unique blend of blues, rock, and soul that will get your feet tapping with “songs you don’t hear every day but forgot how much you love.” Click here to take a listen!
- 3:30 p.m.: Exit 180 – Covering everything from classic rock to southern rock and country hits, this band will have you singing along to your favorites.
- 5:30 p.m.: Moxie – End the day on a high note with a high-energy show featuring R&B, funk, and rock from the ’60s to the ’80s. If you love Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Tina Turner, you won’t want to miss this!
