Davie County’s Three Christmas Parades Begin this Weekend

on November 28, 2022

Davie County’s Christmas parades are a beloved tradition that has been charming young and old for decades. Make plans now to attend one or all three!

Mocksville’s Hometown Christmas Parade – December 3rd at 2 p.m.

Mocksville’s Hometown Christmas parade will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, at 2 p.m. The theme is “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

Sponsored by Mocksville Tourism, the parade will feature everything from walking groups, performers, horseback riders, and single vehicles to full-blown floats, candy for the kids, and of course, Santa Claus. The parade will depart from Rich Park, travel down Main Street, turn left on Depot Street, and end at Railroad Street, where dismantling will begin.

Download and print your parade location assignments on the Town of Mocksville website.

Participants may arrive at their designated location as early as 1 p.m. but should plan to arrive no later than 1:30 p.m.

Parents dropping off kids in Rich Park will be directed to park at Mocksville Elementary School and walk their children to their float location in Rich Park.

Please Note: Limited through traffic will begin at 1 p.m and the parade route streets (Main, Depot, Park, Poplar, etc.) will be closed to ALL traffic by 1:15 p.m. so that the parade may start on time at 2 p.m. SHARP.
