Dempsey Essick is the featured artist at the 41st annual “Davie Craft Corner.” This annual craft village with juried items will be held at the Brock Auditorium in historic downtown Mocksville this Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM, Friday from 9 AM to 9 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM.  Traditional and holiday crafts, a bake sale and a café make this is a fun way to get some of your holiday shopping done.

Traditional and holiday crafts, a bake sale and a café make this is a fun way to get some of your holiday shopping done. The Davie Craft Association is a juried group of crafters with members from Davie County and from several surrounding counties. Crafts include pottery, painting, wood-turning, chain-saw carving, jewelry, wrought iron, weaving, baskets, and much more.

The Village Café will have soups, salads, chicken pie, chicken salad, hamburgers, and more. Home-baked goods will also be available.

Benefit for Community Projects
Admission is $1 for adults and free for children younger than 12. Each craft vendor donates 5% of sales to benefit community projects. Last year the Craft Association raised money for the Davie County High School student scholarship fund, the Davie County Library and the Storehouse for Jesus.
