Koren Farm’s Christmas to Remember & Wreath and Alpaca Fiber Garland Classes

Cooleemee Christmas Parade & Old Time Christmas 

Date: November 29, 4 p.m.
Location: Starts at Cooleemee Elementary School, ending at the Zachary House

Get ready to watch the streets of Cooleemee come alive with holiday spirit at the annual Christmas Parade! Starting at Cooleemee Elementary School and winding its way to the historic Zachary House, this beloved tradition brings together friends, family, and neighbors to celebrate the season. If you would like to be part of the magic, plan to be at Cooleemee Elementary at 3 p.m. to join the parade lineup.  

Old Time Christmas at the Zachary House

Immediately following the Cooleemee Christmas Parade

After the parade, head over to the Zachary House for Old Time Christmas, hosted by the Cooleemee Historical Association (CHA), the Town of Cooleemee, and The Bridge Church. This classic Christmas celebration offers festive activities and delicious treats for all ages. 

Other activities will include: 

  • A visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus
  • Readings of the Christmas Story and ’Twas the Night Before Christmas
  • Desserts, hot chocolate, and cider to keep you warm and cozy

Holiday Makers Market at Kennedy Family Farms

Kennedy Family Farms is the one-stop shop to start and finish holiday shopping by supporting local businesses- this is a great way to shop all of our local makers and for our makers to have the chance to showcase their designs and goods! This event is free for shoppers. In addition to the community of makers, there will be fresh coffee and beverages, baked goods, food trucks, Christmas pictures for the kiddos, and a selection of locally grown Christmas Trees and Wreaths. 

Community Christmas Tree Lighting | Advance Fire Department

Celebrate the start of the holiday season with warmth, fellowship, and festive cheer at the Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting hosted by the Advance Fire Department! This beloved tradition brings together friends, neighbors, and local congregations—including Advance United Methodist, Elbaville Church, and Advance First Baptist—for an evening that highlights the joy and unity of our community.

Gather with us for Christmas caroling, seasonal refreshments, and the official lighting of the community Christmas tree, which shines bright for all to enjoy. It’s the perfect way to kick off December with holiday spirit and shared celebration.

Christmas Lighting in Downtown Mocksville – December 6 

Date: Friday, December 5, 6 p.m. 
Location: The Quads, Downtown Mocksville

Celebrate the holiday season at Mocksville’s newest tradition—the Quad Christmas Lighting! Starting with a lighting ceremony on December 5th, the iconic oak trees at the heart of the downtown quad will be aglow, creating a dazzling holiday display in Mocksville’s charming town center. There will be a large inflatable sled for taking pictures, and hot chocolate will be available.

Mocksville’s Hometown Christmas Parade  

Date: December 6, 2 – 4 p.m. 
Location: Downtown Mocksville 

Mocksville’s Hometown Christmas Parade is an annual holiday tradition that has delighted young and old for decades. This year’s theme is “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”   

The parade will feature everything from walking groups, performers, and horseback riders to single vehicles and full-blown floats, candy for the kids, and, of course, Santa Claus. The parade will depart from Rich Park on Saturday, December 6th, at 2 p.m., travel down Main Street, turn left onto Depot Street, and end at Railroad Street, where dismantling will begin.

Please note: Limited through traffic will begin at 1 p.m., and the parade route streets (Main, Depot, Park, Poplar, etc.) will be closed to ALL traffic by 1:15 p.m. so that the parade may start on time at 2 p.m.

Christmas at the Brock

Date: December 7, 3 p.m.

Drive-Thru Nativity at Ijames Baptist Church – December 13 & 14

Celebrate the reason for the season. Join Ijames Baptist Church this Christmas season for its Drive-Thru Live Nativity. This will be a two-night event on December 12th and 13th from 6 – 7:30 p.m. This free event will include live characters, live animals, great scenery, and the message of the true meaning of Christmas. Bring a carload and make a wonderful Christmas memory. 

Breakfast with Santa

Date: December 13, 8-11 a.m.

Join us at Hillsdale Church on December 13th from 8–11 AM for a free breakfast with Santa! Enjoy some holiday cheer, share your Christmas wish list, and help spread joy by bringing a Toys for Tots donation.

Advance Christmas Parade 

Date: December 13, 10 a.m. 
Location: Begins at Shady Grove Elementary School, 3179 Cornatzer Rd, Advance

No better way to start the day than a parade! Grab a hot chocolate and head to the Advance Christmas Parade sponsored by the Advance Fire Department. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Shady Grove Elementary School and follows Cornatzer Road, turning right onto Highway 801 and left onto Peoples Creek Road. The parade will be held rain or shine.

Koren Farms Christmas Market

Date: December 13, 10-3 p.m.
Location: 1347 Hwy 64, Mocksville 

Join Koren Farms for its annual Christmas Market, where you will find something special for everyone on your Christmas List. Enjoy a visit with the Alpacas, Santa & Mrs. Claus, festive food, craft beer, and cider while sitting by the fire! So much to enjoy! 

Santa & Mrs. Claus & Petting Zoo 

Date: December 13, 1-4 p.m.
Location: Downtown Mocksville 

Christmas in Mocksville wouldn’t be complete without a visit from the North Pole’s most famous couple! Bring the whole family to Main Street Park on Saturday, December 13th, from 1–4 p.m. to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, share your last-minute wishes, and capture keepsake photos.

The afternoon will also feature a petting zoo, face painting, and children’s activities. Plus, enjoy tasty favorites from Crazy Dog Food Truck and sip warm coffee or hot chocolate from Sippity Sips.

Downtown Mocksville Horse & Buggy Rides 

Date: December 13, 6-8 p.m. 
Location: Downtown Mocksville near The Foxhole Trading Company 

“Dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh …” Even if there is no snow, what better way to enjoy the Christmas lights and the spirit of the holidays than a ride through Historic Downtown Mocksville in a horse-drawn carriage? The buggy can hold 4-6 people, so bring the family and enjoy a FREE carriage ride down Main Street and through downtown. Accommodations for individuals with special needs can be arranged by contacting Jeannette Pitts at 336-753-6705. 

While you wait, enjoy a steaming cup of hot chocolate or coffee from Sippity Sips, stroll through our festive downtown, and vote for your favorite window display by scanning the QR code. It’s a holiday experience that brings the best of Mocksville to life!

Christmas at the Farm Shop Local Event 

Date: December 14, 1:30 – 4:30
Location: 1293 Cherry Hill Rd., Mocksville 

Start the season off by finding the perfect NC-grown Fraser Fir Christmas tree! Top off your decorations with handmade wreaths, garlands, and bows, all made right at Cherry Hill Farm. There will be lots of homegrown and local goodies available at the farm stand, as well as gift baskets made of NC products! December 8th will be the annual Shop Local at the Farm Event from 1:30-4:30, with lots of local small businesses set up selling their handmade gifts and baked goods, so bring your shopping list! Come hungry and eat at one of the local food trucks while you shop, all while supporting local!

Community Christmas Fest 2025 in Bermuda Run 

Date: December 14, 4- 7 p.m.
Location: 168 E. Kinderton Way, Bermuda Run

Come join the whole community at the beautiful, historic WinMock barn to start off the Advent season with a fun FREE night of fellowship! There will be plenty of vendors selling community crafts and goods, some Christmas singers and musical performances, and a short kids’ program. In addition, there will be a food truck selling meals, a bounce house for children, a family photo area, and some carnival games. The event is hosted by the Church of the Good Shepherd. 

Ornaments Workshop with DCRP

Date: December 17, 10 a.m. – noon 
Location: 151 Southwood Drive, Mocksville

Kick off the holiday season with a little sparkle and creativity! Kids can design and decorate their own festive ornaments! Join us on Wednesday, December 17, from 10:00 AM –  12:00 PM in Meeting Room 2 at the Davie County Community Park!
