Family Promise of Davie County is thrilled to announce it has received a $20,000 grant from Clayton, strengthening efforts to help local families stay safely housed and regain stability during times of crisis.
This grant is part of a larger $1.5 million commitment that Clayton is distributing across the Family Promise national network. The funding follows the renewal of the ongoing partnership between Family Promise and Clayton through the “A Future Begins at Home” initiative. Since its launch in 2019, this initiative has generated millions in additional funding and has helped more than 30,000 families nationwide avoid or overcome homelessness.
“If we can prevent families from experiencing homelessness in the first place, that’s a best-case scenario. This grant allows us to provide trauma-informed services for families in crisis in Davie County,” said Lisa Reynolds, executive director.
Clayton’s support extends beyond financial contributions. Since 2019, the company has donated 18 homes to Family Promise affiliates nationwide, including one to Family Promise of Davie County in 2020.
Thanks to Clayton’s continued generosity, Family Promise of Davie County can expand its impact, offering hope, stability, and a brighter future to even more families in need.
