Enjoy a little Blues, Beach, Country, Funk, and Rock as one of Mocksville’s favorite hometown bands, The Band Tess, takes center stage Saturday night, June 10th, from 7-10 p.m. in the quad near Restaurant 101 in Downtown Mocksville
The Band Tess
Founded in 2014, this multi-talented group features Davie County locals Tess Welch – vocals; Grady McClamrock – rhythm guitar; Gary Chilton – lead guitar; Ken Simonds – bass; Jerry Smith – keyboards; and Darren Boles – drums.
Clap your hands, tap your feet, and sing along as they play your favorites from a wide range of artists like Sheryl Crow, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Jimmy Buffet, and the Eagles.
More Concerts for 2023
This performance is the first in the free Concerts on the Square series sponsored by the Town of Mocksville. These concerts are perfect for a delightful date night or a family-friendly fun night!
Future performances are July 8th – Moxie (Dance, R&B, Funk), August 12th — The Usual Suspects (70’s & 80’s), and September 9th — Exit 180 Band (Rock, Southern Rock, Classic Rock, Country, Blues).
Bring your lawn chair and enjoy these free concerts. Don’t forget to check out the delicious restaurants and unique shops. Grab a snack or ice cream at Scoops, The Factory Coffeehouse, or The Station on Main.
