Enjoy a full day of fun for the entire family during the annual Four Oaks Festival, this Saturday, October 24, from 10-6:00 in historic downtown Mocksville. Dozens of vendors will feature unique craft and gift items as well as showcase local businesses. There will be food vendors, lots of free kids’ activities, and free live music at Junker’s Mill Outdoor Theater beginning at noon.
Crafts, Christmas Specialties, and Unique Items for Sale
Start your Christmas shopping early, or buy a little something special for yourself as you enjoy the crafts, Christmas specialties, and other original items for sale. Find that “one-of-a-kind” piece of pottery, stained glass, or unique item made from reclaimed wood or jumpstart your fall decorating with pumpkins, flowers, and handcrafted wreaths and decorations.
Free Maze and Bounce house Inflatables, Balloon Art and More for the Kids
Kids will enjoy the maze, bounce house, and the balloon creations of clown artist, Mike Decker, who entertained the kids at the Downtown Farmer’s Market this summer. Crafts, food, and the kids’ area will be set among the Oaks on Main St. and run down Depot St. leading to Junker’s Outdoor Theater.
Bring Your Lawn Chair and Enjoy Free Concerts – Live Music All Day!
The music starts at noon and continues until 6:30 p.m. at Junker’s Mill Outdoor Stage, 107 S. Salisbury St. BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR AND NO COOLERS, PLEASE. Alcohol and water will be for sale at Junker’s Mill and food vendors will be at the top of the hill on Depot Street.

2015 started with a bang for Tim Elliott after one of his songs was chosen to be the theme song to an all new television series “Big Dawg Outdoors.” The bands rocking country sound is pumped into 17 million homes every Sunday. In July Tim was named North and South Carolina’s “Country Artist of The Year” by the Carolina Music Awards.

The 2015 Hometown Holiday Celebration kicks off with the “Twas the Night Before” Bed Race on Friday, November 2oth followed by the Hometown Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 21st.
