Free Pesticide Collection Day Tuesday, May 17th

Do you have old pesticides taking up space in your barn, garage, or storage shed? 

Dispose of them for free on Tuesday, May 17th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Clement Grove Masonic Picnic Grounds on Poplar Street behind the Brock Performing Arts Center, 622 N. Main Street, Mocksville. This event is open to residents of Davie and Yadkin counties.  

The pesticide products that will be accepted include:

  • Herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, rodenticides, etc.
  • New, unopened, and partially used products
  • Banned & outdated pesticides

Items that will not be accepted include:

  • Paints and other hazardous waste
  • Unknown products
  • Products that are not labeled
  • Products not in pesticide containers

Register by May 10th for Large Container Disposal

PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to dispose of containers over 5 gallons, you must contact Davie Extension Center at (336) 753-6100 to pre-register at least one week before the collection date.
