With the Main Street Half Marathon of Mocksville on Saturday and a Superhero Sprint and street festival on Friday night, downtown Mocksville is the place to be this weekend. Even if you aren’t a runner, come out and enjoy live music, street vendors, food, and more.
The event is designed to “bring it back home” — to race local & shop local, to celebrate the Main Streets of America that have made our country great, all while raising funds to combat the opioid crisis in our county.
Organizers promise that this will be unlike any half marathon event you’ve done before. Equal parts challenge, community and celebration…with a pre-race outdoor festival and street fair, a “Superhero Sprint” kids race down Main Street, entertainment, family and friends along the way, and a finish line party that rivals a rock show …they are confident that when you finish you’ll feel it was “Time Well Spent” and something you won’t soon forget!
