A Joyful Tradition Shared Across Davie County
Festive spirit sparkled throughout downtown as thousands gathered on Saturday, December 6th, to enjoy one of Davie County’s most beloved holiday traditions—the Mocksville Hometown Christmas Parade!
Families lined Main and Depot Streets, excited to see colorful floats, marching performers, twinkling costumes, and an appearance from Santa himself. Holiday music, laughter, and community pride could be felt everywhere as the parade made its way through historic downtown Mocksville.
Mocksville’s Director of Marketing & Community Development, Jeannette Pitts, expressed gratitude for the dedicated volunteers who bring this long-standing tradition to life each year.
“We’re so thankful for our grand marshals, Karen Austin and Barry Rentz, as well as our judges Nicole Blalock, Tami Langdon, and Monica Stone-Huggins,” Pitts shared. “Thanks also go to the volunteers, organizations, parents, and kids who made this year’s parade unforgettable!”
