Tribute Tree Lighting Ceremony

To commemorate Veterans Day, Mocksville will dedicate a “Tree of Honor” in Main Street Park, honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes. The tree will be lit during a special ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, at 11:11 a.m., and will continue to shine brightly throughout the holiday season as a reminder of their courage and commitment.

Purchase Flags in Honor of Service Members

From September 22 – November 3, 2025, community members may purchase flags for $1.50 each in honor or memory of a designated service person. Every flag placed on the Tree of Honor will serve as a visible tribute to those who have served our country. Proceeds will benefit the Davie County Heroes Fund, which provides support and assistance to local veterans.
