Experience Award-Winning Bluegrass at Mocksville’s Premier Festival
This year’s festival boasts a stellar lineup that includes not one but two Entertainers of the Year! Enjoy performances by Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers and The Kody Norris Show, along with the captivating Martha Spencer Band and North Carolina’s beloved None of the Above. Each of these talented acts brings a unique flavor to the stage, ensuring a day packed with toe-tapping, hand-clapping entertainment.
More Than Just Music: Family-Friendly Activities, Food, and Crafts Await at CBC Bluegrass Festival
The two-time winner of Carolina’s Finest “Best Festival” award, the festival offers much more than just music. Bring the whole family to enjoy free kids’ activities, explore food, craft, and art vendors, and bid in the silent auction. Don’t forget to stop by the Coffee Café and indulge in some delicious home-baked goods! If you’re a musician, don’t miss The Pickers’ Place, sponsored by The Swicegood Group, where you can join in and jam with fellow bluegrass enthusiasts. AGAPE of NC returns to sponsor the kids’ activities tent and the cozy Nappin’ Cabin, perfect for young guests and their parents.
The Great Banjo Giveaway!
One lucky guest will go home with a vintage, fully restored Maxitone banjo signed by festival headliners Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers!
WAME Radio 92.9 of Statesville and luthier John Boulding of NoteAble Repair in Mt. Airy donated the aluminum hoop banjo.
“We love the Carolina Bible Camp Bluegrass Festival, and we had such a great response last year to our mandolin giveaway, we wanted to do something along the same lines this year,” ” said WAME morning personality and owner Billy Buck. “We encourage everyone to get their tickets to the festival at one of the live locations, or purchase them online at www.cbcbluegrass.com, or better yet, tune in to WAME and win a ticket in one of our many CBC festival ticket giveaways.”
“If you want to see and hear the banjo before the festival, just visit our website at www.WAMERadio.com to watch the video with None of the Above.”
Guests attending the festival must visit the WAME live broadcast van during the festival to enter the drawing. No purchase (other than the festival ticket) is required, but the winner must be present for the 4 p.m. drawing. The winner will be invited on stage to receive the banjo from Buck.
A Scenic Setting
Always held the second Saturday in September, the festival takes place on the scenic 68-acre Carolina Bible Camp, featuring rustic cabins and the one-of-a-kind “Front Porch Stage.” This picturesque location provides the perfect backdrop for a day of music and memories.
