Mocksville’s Board of Commissioners appointed Kenneth Gamble, current town manager of Denton, North Carolina, as its fifth town manager.  Gamble brings a wealth of experience having served as town manager in Denton for 2 years, and previously as town manager of Stoneville, North Carolina for 5 years.  He also served in Kernersville, North Carolina as a law enforcement officer for 19 years with the last 3 ½ years of his tenure as the chief of police.

Mayor Will Marklin, speaking on behalf of the Board said, “Kenneth Gamble brings several years of managerial experience to the table and will be an asset to Mocksville for years to come. We look forward to working with him in determining the future needs of our town while improving the quality of life for its citizens.”

Gamble is equally excited about the appointment.  “I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to serve as the town manager for Mocksville,” he said. “I will work closely with the community, employees, leadership team, and Board of Commissioners to keep Mocksville moving in a positive direction.  On behalf of my family, we are all excited to become part of such a welcoming and engaging community.”
