2011 Playoffs Begin at Home on Friday, July 8th at 7 PM
The 2011 Mocksville-Davie American Legion Baseball Team, sponsored by Coolemee American Legion Post 54 and the Mocksville-Davie Youth Baseball Association are poised to continue their winning ways during the Area III Playoffs. The playoff format has been changed to a double elimination tournament for 2011.
Mocksville-Davie Begins the 2011 Playoffs with Home Field Advantage!
In the new playoff format, games are played at the home field of the highest seeded team. A regular season Southern Division Area III record of 13 wins and 3 losses places Mocksville-Davie in the second seed for the 2011 playoffs. This means that Mocksville-Davie will have home field advantage for at least the first 2 playoff games. The home field for Mocksville-Davie is at Rich Park, just down past the Davie Family YMCA on Cemetery Street in historic downtown Mocksville.
