About the Advocacy Center of Davie County
The Advocacy Center of Davie County was founded in 2004 through the generosity of Mr. Tom Bailey Woodruff.
The Advocacy Center is an effort to “Stand in the Gap” for the needy in our community. The Advocacy Center of Davie County supplies financial support for utilities, rent, and basic needs of life to needy residents of Davie County. The Advocacy Center supplements, when possible, assistance provided to qualified individuals by other agencies. So far this year the Advocacy Center of Davie County has assisted 37 clients and 99 family members.
Please join us Friday night for a terrific concert at the Family Life Center of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. The Advocacy Center is not supported by federal, state, or local government funds and relies on the generosity of the community through grants, donations and fund raising efforts. The concert on Friday evening promises to be a great evening of fellowship and music. A love offering will be taken during the event. All funds collected will be used to sustain the Advocacy Center so that they can continue to minister to those in need throughout Davie County.
