Downtown Mocksville will welcome fall with The Oaks Festival on Saturday, October 10, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., bringing live music, food, vendors, and free children’s activities to the heart of downtown.

This free festival will stretch through the downtown area, giving visitors a chance to spend the day listening to music, browsing approximately 65 vendors, grabbing something to eat, and visiting downtown shops and restaurants.
Live Music Throughout the Day
Three groups will take the stage during the festival, providing live music from 11 a.m. until the event wraps up at 7 p.m. Bring a lawn chair, settle in, and enjoy the music.
- 11 a.m.–1 p.m. — Raphael Graves Duo
- 1–4 p.m. — Taylor Mason
- 4–7 p.m. — Carolina Clay Band

Come Hungry
There will be plenty to eat and drink throughout the day, with a growing lineup of food and beverage vendors.
Grab Mexican favorites from Mexa Way, barbecue from Bear Creek BBQ, or a burger from Quickserve. Then save room for something sweet from DonutNV of Advance NC, or J K Enterprises LLC Ice Cream.
For something refreshing, look for Tropical Kiss Lemonade, Southern Lemon Beverage Co., Remix’d Soda Co., and Fizzy Creations and Treats.
Two vendors will also offer alcoholic beverages during the festival: New Sarum Brewing Co. and Stardust Cellars.
About 65 Vendors Expected
Approximately 65 vendors are expected at this year’s Oaks Festival, with applications still coming in. Among those already scheduled are Grace & Gold Permanent Jewelry, Kintsu Kate LLC Trucker Hat Bar, WanderStar Bookstore and nonprofit Cruising for Kids.
Organizers are still accepting applications and would particularly like to add more vendors from Mocksville and the surrounding area. Businesses, artisans, makers and organizations interested in participating can apply through the Oaks Festival vendor application on Eventeny.

Free Activities for Children
Families will find several free activities for children throughout the day.
A&N Rentals will provide bounce houses, while Trash Masters will bring its Swamp Truck for kids to check out. There will also be pumpkin painting, a coloring station and a chalk station.
Spend Some Time Downtown
The festival also provides an opportunity to explore downtown Mocksville while you’re there.
Visitors can step away from the festival activities to browse downtown shops, stop for coffee or a meal, or simply walk around Main Street before heading back to catch the next band.
