Situated on a beautiful 305 acre preserve in heart of Davie County off of US Highway 64 just 10 miles south of historic downtown Mocksville, Thousand Trails RV Resort and campground, has operated for the last 25 years as a private resort.
Formerly only open to lifetime members, Thousand Trails has introduced the Zone Camping Pass, which provides a low-investment way to enjoy the benefits of resort-style camping on an annual basis. There are no sale presentations, no expensive up-front fees, and no long-term commitments.
Forest Lake Preserve Dates Back to 1817
At 305 Acres, Forest Lake Preserve boasts forests, rolling hills and green fields which were once part of the Cooleemee cotton and tobacco plantation, which dates back to 1817. The lake on the property offers fishing, boating and a swimming beach.
A recent tour of the facilities with long time manager Robert Rowe was a real treat! “It is important for current members to realize that none of their rights will change in any way. We are just making the resort available to more families in Davie County,” said Mr. Rowe.
A Scenic Nature Preserve with Resort Style Amenities
