A Magical Night Under the Stars: Aladdin at Movies in the Park – September 13th

on September 2, 2025

Summer in Mocksville means Movies in the Park—and this time, we’re bringing the magic of Disney’s Aladdin! Gather your family, grab a blanket or lawn chair, and join us on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 7:45 p.m. at Main Street Park for a free outdoor movie experience.

About the Movie: A Diamond in the Rough

Follow the adventures of Aladdin, a kind-hearted but poor street rat living in the bustling city of Agrabah. His life changes forever when he discovers a magical lamp containing a hilarious and powerful Genie who grants him three wishes.

With the Genie’s help, Aladdin tries to win the heart of Princess Jasmine while stopping the evil sorcerer Jafar from seizing the kingdom. Along the way, he learns an unforgettable lesson: true worth comes from within—not riches, power, or pretending to be someone else.

This timeless Disney animated classic is filled with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable songs like “A Whole New World” and “Friend Like Me.”
