boltsandnutscorpIn another example of Davie County business leaders playing ambassador for our community, Davie County is pleased to welcome Bolts and Nuts Corp. to Mocksville, North Carolina.

With locations in Chattanooga, TN, Macon, GA and Chicago, Ill, Bolts and Nuts began looking for a North Carolina location to continue their aggressive expansion east of the Mississippi to both support existing customers and attract new OEMs to their growing list of valued customers.

Economic Development is a Team Sport
While exploring options south and east of Davie County in Mooresville, Charlotte and other locations, Bolts and Nuts Executive Chairman, Dave Hadani met with long time Davie County entrepreneur, Doug Constable.  Upon learning about the resurgence of manufacturing in Davie County enabled in part by a hard working team of elected officials, a professional economic development team and other community leaders, the Bolts and Nuts team made a decision to explore our community for a possible expansion site.

After an introduction by Doug Constable, Bolts & Nuts executives visited with Terry Bralley, president of the Davie County Economic Development Commission.  Terry arranged a series of visits with local manufacturers so that the Bolts & Nuts team could hear for themselves about the pro-business environment, the character of our workforce, and the quality of life for employees and employers in Davie County. It didn’t take long for Bolts & Nuts to become convinced to look at locations in Davie County for a place to expand their operations.

In addition to Doug Constable, we also owe a debt of gratitude to another set of local ambassadors; the local companies that agreed to meet with the Bolts & Nuts team.  These local ambassadors include Michael Barron, Plant Manager at Comfort Bilt Windows and Doors; Bill Junker, Owner of Trailers of the East Coast;  Eric Olshall, General Manager at Gesipa USA.

Mr. Hadani is excited about the future in Davie County, “We are excited to be in Davie County and deeply appreciate the hospitality up until now as we become solid citizens and contributors to the health of the community, as well as servicing the Winston-Salem/Greensboro/High Point markets.  We look forward to an exciting future here, and invite anyone with a fastener or MRO need to reach out to us at www.boltsnuts.com, or better yet, allow us to visit with you at your business.”

About Bolts and Nuts Corp.
Founded in 1979 in Chattanooga, TN, Bolts and Nuts has earned a reputation for character and reliability in the commercial fastener industry by providing customized service and support, vendor managed inventory services, quality assurance, inventory management, on-time delivery and extensive product selection to original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s), maintenance and repair operations (MRO’s), waterworks, construction, transportation and many other industry sectors.  Efficient and effective vendor managed inventory partnerships and superior customer service, combined with character and reliability placed Bolts and Nuts on a path to success and growth.
