Monthly Tradition Kicks Off April 6 with Cars, Music, and Community Fun
Classic cars, community spirit, and a lively downtown atmosphere are set to return as Mocksville’s popular Cruise-Ins make their comeback this spring. Beginning Monday, April 6, from 5 to 8 p.m., residents and visitors are invited to head to downtown Mocksville for an evening filled with vintage vehicles and hometown charm.
Presented by the D.C. Cruisers Car Club, the Cruise-Ins will take place on the first Monday of each month from April through October. During these evenings, the town square transforms into a vibrant showcase of classic cars and unique vehicles of all makes and models. Main Street becomes a gathering place for car enthusiasts and spectators alike, offering a chance to admire beautifully restored vehicles and connect with those who share a passion for automotive history.
A Night of Cars, Food, and Entertainment
In addition to the impressive lineup of vehicles, attendees can enjoy a variety of food options. A local church will offer food for purchase, along with Eric & K’s BBQ, providing plenty of choices for a casual dinner downtown.
The evening will also feature music from DJ Barry Rentz of the Mobile Jukebox, creating an upbeat atmosphere throughout the event. Participating car owners will have the opportunity to win door prizes, and a 50/50 raffle will add an extra element of excitement.

A Community Gathering with Something for Everyone
More than just a car show, the Cruise-Ins serve as a welcoming community event where residents and visitors can connect, ask questions, and enjoy everything downtown Mocksville has to offer. Whether you are a dedicated car enthusiast or simply looking for a fun evening out, the Cruise-Ins provide an experience that blends nostalgia, entertainment, and small-town hospitality.
In the event of rain, Cruise-Ins will be rescheduled for the third Monday of each month.
