Billy Joel is a musical legend known for his vocal excellence and master work on the Piano. Residents of Davie now have the opportunity to witness “The Nation’s Most Authentic Tribute to Billy Joel” with The Stranger, starring Mike Santoro, performing live at the Brock on Saturday, August 28, at 7:30 p.m.
Being a musical prodigy, Santoro has always had an affinity towards musical perfection. He has dedicated his life to recreating the magic of Joel’s music to levels of intricacy beyond many’s idea of a tribute. Santoro works to keep the magic of Joel’s art alive, and has even been acknowledged and thanked personally by Joel himself.
Sidniee Suggs, executive director of the arts council, has attended one of Santoro’s performances, and was astounded at the accuracy and attention to detail, “He and his band are right on the money as they perform the well-known Billy Joel songbook.”
The band’s website sums it up this way, “We give you the Billy Joel show with the sound of his original band in his prime… energetic, interactive and often unpredictable. It’s live entertainment at its best!”
Seating is limited, so get tickets while you can! Tickets are $40 for adults and $38 for seniors.
