The Davie County Chamber of Commerce held its 15th Annual Pro Scramble on Monday, September 10th at the Oak Valley Golf Club. Scores of local business and community leaders and golf pros enjoyed a beautiful afternoon while competing in a friendly round of golf at Oak Valley Golf Club.
Professional golfers from clubs throughout the Carolinas served as “captains” of the teams each consisting of 5 amateur players.
Two new contests added some light entertainment to the day including a Fantasy Golf Scratch Off Card contest and the Davie Chamber APP sign up contest. Professional Long Driver Trent Scruggs was on site at Hole #15 to make shots for participating teams.
“The day was a great success in every way, and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. The weather was ideal and everything went as planned! While the tournament is the Chamber’s annual fundraiser, it is also a great opportunity to showcase many of our local businesses and tourism entities.” said Carolyn McManamy, Chamber President.
