North State StoryOur State: Down Home in North Carolina, a prestigious and celebrated monthly magazine names Davie County as one of 12 locations to visit across the state of North Carolina. The January 2010 cover story, “Year of the North Carolina Vacation” recommends a trip to Davie County with a terrific article on the Bullhole and the founding of RiverPark at Cooleemee Falls.  The article includes a brief but informative history of the area and a glimpse into the potential future of the park.  With up to 250 visitors per day, our little swimming hole sure has come a long way.  The future looks bright for this Davie County landmark!

A web-exclusive from “Our State” includes a 1 page travel guide ~ “Swimmin’ in Cooleemee – RiverPark and The Bullhole.”   The travel guide includes suggestions on dining, places to visit while you are here and details on how to get here.  Download your copy here.
