Essential Business? Register Today To Avoid Closure

The NC Office of Emergency Management is collecting information on businesses that wish to be deemed essential in case we reach the point that such a designation is necessary. 

“State legislators are suggesting to any business that is concerned about further closings to send an email sooner rather than later,” said Terry Bralley, president of the Davie County Economic Development Commission. 

Businesses that wish to be considered essential should email beoc@ncdps.gov with the following information:

• Business name
• Point of Contact including:
  • name
  • email
  • phone number
  • address
• Nature of the business and why it is critical to continue operations
• Business website
