The Town of Bermuda Run will be alive with the sounds of beach music as Special Occasion Band (SOB) kicks off the Sounds on the Square concert series this Saturday night, May 28th, from 7 pm-10 pm at the gazebo near Town Hall.
This is the first of two free concerts co-sponsored by the Town of Bermuda Run and the Davie County Arts Council. The next concert, Gershwin on the Square with Martha Bassett, will be held June 25th at 7 pm.

Special Occasion Band is known throughout the Carolinas for its versatility and depth of talent. This Winston-Salem-based band has been together since the 80’s offering the best of Carolinas’ Beach Music, Top 40, Oldies, and Country. Their beach repertoire includes favorites like “I Love Beach Music,” “Carolina Girls,” “60 Minute Man,” and “Brown-eyed Girl.”

There is plenty of space, so bring your lawn chairs, a cool drink and snacks, and maybe your shaggin’ shoes, and enjoy this free concert. Arrangements are being made for area food trucks.
