He is Risen Celebration – 1-3 p.m.
Cornerstone Christian Church, 1585 NC Hwy 801 N., Mocksville, will host the He is Risen Celebration from 1- 3 p.m. This fun event for the whole family will feature a Gospel message, egg hunts, games, a bounce house, and food. Rain or shine.
Saturday, April 8th
Cooleemee Easter Egg Hunt – 10 a.m.
Get your Easter basket ready! Cooleemee will host its annual Easter egg hunt at the Zachary House on Saturday, April 8th, 2023, at 10 a.m. SHARP.
This event is for children 0-10, and there will be prizes for everyone.
The Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures, so bring your cameras and plan to have a fun-filled morning in Cooleemee.
Easter Egg Hunt – Farmington Baptist Church – 10:30 a.m.
Farmington Baptist Church, 1835 Farmington Road, Mocksville, will host an egg hunt at 10:30 a.m. This event is for toddlers through 5th grade, with age-appropriate activities for all! Children will hunt for eggs filled with candy and hear about how Jesus loves them so much that he died on the cross for them and arose on the third day. Everyone is invited to stick around after the egg hunt for free hotdogs!
DCRP Easter EGGstravaganza & BONE-anza – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Stuffed eggs, grand prizes, and a bunny or two are all it takes to have a hopping good time this Easter! Head over to Davie County Community Park, 151 Southwood Drive, Mocksville, from 11 a.m – 3 p.m. for Davie County Recreation & Parks’ Easter EGGstravaganza egg hunts for children up to 10 years of age and BONE-anza (a dog-only Easter egg hunt) featuring treat-filled eggs for your favorite furry friend. There will also be pictures with the Easter Bunny and a “Best Bunny” costume contest. All events are FREE!
