In collaboration with North Carolina Science Fest, COGNITION Davie will be hosting its first ever STEAM Extravaganza on Saturday, April 15th, from 10 a.m. – noon.
This is a free event for all ages!
COGNITION will have representatives on site for all of the categories in STEAM:
- Science
- Technology
- Engineering
- Arts
- Math
These representatives will be available to talk to so that students can learn about what they do, see examples of their work, and even try some things out for themselves. This is a great opportunity for students who would like to learn more about what it is like to have a career in STEAM, and discover careers that they might not be aware of.
The outdoor space and Makerspace will be utilized as well with experiments and STEAM challenges that people of all ages can take part in and enjoy. There will be multiple tables run by volunteers ready to show you what fun you can have with STEAM and what exactly COGNITION has to offer.
The North Carolina Science Festival is a celebration of STEAM around the state. Throughout the entire month of April, many STEAM based events will occur all over NC. COGNITION is proud to be hosting our STEAM Extravaganza as part of this celebration.
