Whether you’re a craft beer connoisseur or just looking to try something new, this event is the place to be.

But it’s not just about the brews! Prepare your taste buds for a culinary adventure with a variety of delicious food options from local vendors Bear Creek BBQ, Bee’s Creamery, Carnival Treats, Gunters Grill on Wheelz, Icy Paradise, Lemon’N’ Dough, Notcho Daddy’s Nachos, Queen City Cannoli, Pineapple Island, Sushi Empire, Teal Wave, The Boba Tea Bar, Treasured Treats, Weenies on Wheels, and 4Fosters Slushies. From savory bites to sweet treats, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

A lively outdoor fair features a colorful bounce house and an inflatable slide. A ticket booth under a white tent sells socks for $1 and entrance for $5 per person. People, including children and adults, enjoy the sunny day on a grassy field with houses in the background.

Family Fun All Day Long

This festival is designed with families in mind, making it the perfect day out for all ages. The Kids Zone is packed with exciting activities to keep the little ones entertained for hours. Kids can bounce to their hearts’ content in the bounce houses, make some new friends at the petting zoo, hunt for treasures with gem mining, dive into a foam pit, and express their creativity with henna art and face painting. For the more adventurous, there’s even axe throwing and rock climbing!

Live Music and Entertainment

No festival is complete without great music, and we’ve got you covered as POUNDCAKE rocks the block and DJ Chris Rhodes of Rhodes Ahead Entertainment keeps the good times rolling with the latest hits. Enjoy their fantastic tunes as you stroll through the festival, savor your favorite foods, and sip a refreshing brew. The vibrant atmosphere and excellent music will make for a memorable experience.

A Pet-Friendly Event

We know that pets are part of the family, too, which is why the Food & Brews Street Festival is a pet-friendly event. Bring your furry friends along and enjoy the day together.

A Community Celebration

“This event will be a great draw for the Town of Mocksville! There will be so much music, food, and a great amount of breweries!” said Jennifer Evens, Mocksville’s marketing and community development director. “Not only that, but all of the activities for kids make this event a family-friendly day in Town! We’re thrilled to bring this event to life and can’t wait to see how everything turns out.”

The Food & Brews Festival Street Festival is hosted by Sunny Day Markets, established by Mocksville natives Montana Noel and Brandon Toney in March 2021.  Initially a boutique also offering vendor pop-ups, the company pivoted after COVID-19 caused them and many other retail shops to shut down.

“When we realized so many vendors had nowhere to go, we started working with other small businesses to provide places for others. Now, Sunny Day Markets specializes in creating dynamic trade shows and street festivals with towns such as the Town of Mocksville to create events for small businesses to showcase and sell their products and also provide a fun event for the community!” explained Noel, co-owner of the traveling small business pop-up shop based out of Union County, NC.

“Brandon and I were both born and raised in Mocksville, and we thought, why not return to our hometown? When the town was so willing to have us host, we knew we had made the right decision to come back to our hometown for an event!!  We are very excited to see this event succeed and hope to continue our partnership with the town and turn it into an annual show the community can always look forward to! We thank you all for having us with open arms!! Everyone has been so accepting, and we look forward to June 1st!!

“We would like to give a HUGE shout-out to our amazing sponsors for this event!! In addition to The Town of Mocksville, they are Garage Doors of The Triad, Monty’s Boutique, NC Trash Masters, Premier Metal Buildings, and She-Haul Printing & Designs. The event will be live-droned by Nick Jones, Onyx Media Group, LLC, a native of Mocksville, as well!”
