Mockville Movies kick off on June 15th with an unlikely hero, Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken. Sweet and awkward 16-year-old Ruby Gillman is desperate to fit in at school but mostly feels invisible. Her mom won’t let her hang out with the cool kids at the beach, but Ruby rebels. Then, she learns she’s a descendant of powerful Kraken queens and must protect the oceans from arrogant mermaids. This discovery changes everything for Ruby. The heartwarming family flick reinforces the truth that it is okay to be different.

The films will be shown outside at Main Street Park at 192 North Main Street. A parent or guardian must stay with their children throughout the movie.
