Mocksville named one of North Carolina's safest citiesGood Work Everyone and Good News for the Town of Mocksville!!!…..Mocksville is number 26 in the top 50 Safest Cities in NC, home to approximately 552 cites/towns.

Thank You to Mayor Slate and the Town Board of Commissioners, Will Marklin, Johnny Frye, Lash Sanford, Rob Taylor and Amy Vaughn-Jones for their support and leadership within the Town of Mocksville.  The town is fortunate to have employees who cooperate and collaborate with other local and state resources to safeguard our environment for all residents and visitors.

Thank you to the EDC, the Chamber of Commerce and the many folks inside and outside of our town who continue to strive daily to maintain and promote our town as a safe place to live, learn, work and play.

The SafeWise Report released its “50 Safest Cities in North Carolina” report this week.  “It’s easy to see why families and businesses are flocking to North Carolina,” SafeWise security analyst Alexia Chianis said. “A pleasant year-round climate, an abundance of recreational opportunities, and especially safe streets are a few of the Tar Heel State’s many assets.”
