The Davie County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to open nominations for two of its most prestigious awards: the 2024 E.C. Tatum Humanitarian Award and the 2024 Business of the Year Award. These honors will be celebrated at the Chamber’s 55th annual meeting in early Spring 2025 at WinMock at Kinderton.

Do you know someone who tirelessly dedicates themselves to making Davie County a better place? This is your chance to recognize their efforts by nominating them for the 2024 E.C. Tatum Humanitarian Award. Named for E.C. Tatum, a visionary and community servant for over three decades, this award celebrates individuals who embody his commitment and compassion.

E.C. Tatum (1926-1995) was a beloved figure in Davie County who made an indelible impact. Tatum was not only a tree farmer and agricultural teacher but also a community pillar, serving on the Chamber of Commerce and Public Library boards and chairing the Davie Futures Strategic Planning task force. His enduring legacy inspired the creation of this award in his honor.
