The Mixed Emotions ~ Beach Music from the top of the Charts!
The Mixed Emotions are a dynamic nine-piece band which consists of a five-piece rhythm section and a four-piece horn section, whose varied styles and versatile musicians exhibit a professional, balanced, well-rounded musical experience.

Based in the Piedmont area of North Carolina, The Mixed Emotions perform selections from the Beach charts reflecting such artist as The Drifters, The Temptations, The Platters, Sam & Dave, The Band of Oz, as well as Top 40 hits from the 70’s and 80’s.

Mixed Emotions ~ Original Beach Music Songs Make Top 40 Charts
Two of the band’s original songs from their third CD “I Need a Walk on the Beach” made the Top 40 charts from 94.9 FM “The Surf” out of North Myrtle Beach in 2007. One of them, “A Beautiful Summer”, stayed in the Top 40 for over one year and was elected into the 94.9 FM “Hall of Fame” for this accomplishment.
