Bright and early on Monday morning, Jennifer Evens stepped into her new role as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Town of Mocksville. Having spent the past several months shadowing her predecessor, the recently retired Tami Langdon, Evens is poised to make a significant impact in her new position. This summer, eight dedicated educators from Davie County Schools assumed the roles of students themselves, embarking on an enlightening journey through local businesses. Their mission? Tami Langdon: A Legacy of Dedication and Community Building in Mocksville

One of Mocksville’s most dedicated champions is retiring. Tami Langdon has been a fixture in downtown Mocksville for over 25 years, serving as a volunteer, a business owner, and, most recently, as the Town’s community development coordinator. On October 1st, she will be stepping away from her position and returning to life as a resident. But that doesn’t mean she’s planning to slow down.
