Visit the beautiful and historic square in downtown Mocksville tonight beginning at 5:30 p.m. for a classic car “Cruise-In” presented by the Piedmont Classic C.A.R.S. Club.
A Symphony of Sights and Sounds
For three hours on a warm, Monday evening, the town square is transformed into a colorful, busy symphony of sight and sounds. The cruise-in draws participants from the surrounding areas stretching from the Virginia border to the Sandhills ~ West from Wilkes County and East to Alamance and Wake Counties. If the weather is kind, the cruise-in will draw as many as 250 cars.
Music and 50/50 Raffle
Music will be provided throughout the evening by DJ Barry Lentz and there will also be a 50/50 raffle tonight.
The cruise-ins also provide car owners the opportunity to get out and drive, which is the real fun of owning a classic car. Enthusiasts come together to share their love of cars with others and to answer questions about cars, the town of Mocksville and the cruise-ins.
The Club is looking for new members. You do not have to own an old or unique vehicle to join the club, but you do need a love for the vehicles. For more information about these events or the club itself, call Jim Dean at 336-492-6053.
The weather looks great for the cruise-in tonight… come on out and join us! If you can’t make it tonight, Classic Car “Cruise-Ins” are held in Mocksville on the first and third Monday of each month from April through October.
