Lambert-Graham Funeral Home celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday, December 10th, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Davie County Chamber of Commerce. Despite the nasty weather, more than 150 area residents turned out to congratulate new owners, Carl and Kim Lambert, and to tour the newly renovated and redecorated facility.
The husband and wife team purchased the funeral home, located at 635 Wilkesboro Street in Mocksville, from Dorothy Graham, who owned and operated the funeral home for more than 20 years.
“This funeral home has always been a well-respected business in the community and it is great to see this tradition continue,” said Caroline Moser, president of the Davie County Chamber of Commerce. “I wish the Lambert Family great success.”
The Lamberts have made Mocksville their home for more than 30 years, where they raised their three children and have actively been involved in organizations and community projects.
