The Davie County Tourism and Town of Mocksville Tourism annual grant cycles are now open for 2023 and both non-profit and for-profit organizations are invited to apply. Holiday spirits were high as thousands lined the streets Saturday, December 3rd, for one of Mocksville’s most beloved traditions, the Mocksville Hometown Christmas Parade. The crowd waved and children scrambled for candy as the dozens of participants, everything from walking groups, performers, single vehicles to full-blown floats, and of course, Santa Claus, traveled down Main and Depot Streets. A “Tribute Tree” to honor and/or remember those who serve or have served to protect our freedom will be located at Mocksville’s Main Street Park and will be on display throughout the 2022 holiday season.
